Next-Generation Flagship Real-Time Simulator
The OP5707XG2, as OPAL-RT's new-generation flagship model, is equipped with up to 8/16 high-performance Intel® Xeon® Gold processor cores and a Xilinx® Virtex® 7 FPGA board. Its onboard expansion slots can accommodate up to 8 analog or digital I/O boards, supporting up to 128 analog or 256 digital high-speed I/O channels. Meanwhile, it features 16-channel high-speed SFP optical fiber communication, meeting the top-tier requirements for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation testing and Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) development.
Product Composition
1. A single unit can be equipped with up to 16 high-performance Intel® Xeon® Gold processor cores and a Xilinx® Virtex® 7 FPGA board, configured with the OPAL-RT Linux real-time operating system (RTOS), delivering exceptional computing performance.
2. Its onboard expansion slots can accommodate up to 8 analog or digital I/O boards, supporting up to 128 analog or 256 digital high-speed I/O channels.
3. It supports LVDS/fiber synchronization and up to 16 channels of high-speed SFP optical fiber communication, used for data communication and clock synchronization between the main unit and expansion units.
4. It provides extensive communication protocol support for various industrial applications, including: IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, IEEE C37.118, DNP3, ModBus, CAN, OPC UA/DA, FlexRay, ARINC-429, etc.
5. It enables quick connection to oscilloscopes via RJ45 and Mini-BNC interfaces; it is equipped with standard DB37 interfaces, providing convenient and fast I/O connections for HIL or RCP applications.
