The KL5XXX System Signal Conditioning Box adopts a standard 19-inch rack-mount 3U and 4U chassis. The function boards use a blade-type plug-in structure, with a backplane inside, allowing interfaces to be placed either on the front or rear side of the chassis as needed. The signal conditioning box supports functions such as transparent transmission, optoelectric conversion, digital signals, analog signals, PWM pulse signals, and optical fiber. Moreover, the signal conditioning box can be used independently of the system, offering good mobility.

Since the input and output signals of common standard boards on the market have relatively fixed characteristics, these fixed specifications generally cannot directly interface with target devices. The signal conditioning box provides functions such as transparent transmission, amplification, attenuation, current boosting, and isolation, which can effectively match the host controller with the target device.

The KL5XXX System Signal Conditioning Box employs operational amplifiers, optocouplers, optical ports, Ethernet ports, as well as isolation and protection circuits for interconnection. It handles and protects various digital and analog signals. The interface connectors of the signal conditioning box include aviation plugs, EDAC, SCSI68, and SCSI100 connectors to interface with standard equipment and target devices.

In principle, the KL5XXX System Signal Conditioning Box is designed and used based on the basic performance of its components. Digital signals are isolated using optocouplers; analog signals are processed via operational amplifiers for amplification, attenuation, and differential conversion. It can achieve isolated amplification of small signals, isolated conversion of standard signals, conversion of AC/DC signals, and isolated conversion of frequency and phase signals.

The KL5XXX System Signal Conditioning Box provides functions such as digital signal high/low level conversion, analog signal amplitude transformation (including current gain and attenuation), PWM pulse signal conditioning, optoelectric conversion, and digital signal control.

The KL5XXX Signal Conditioning Box uses universal function boards, enabling signal conversion and conditioning for different specifications and requirements across various signal types.
