Korea Electric Power Research Institute’s Photovoltaic Inverter Testing System
Achievements

The Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI) has established a photovoltaic inverter test system based on an SPS linear amplifier, capable of directly testing 350 kW mediumscale photovoltaic inverters. Physical images of some of the system cabinets are shown below:

The entire inverter test system consists of four 100 kW photovoltaic simulators, two 90 kW AC power sources, two 175 kW power feedback units, and three 15 kW RLC loads. The system principle is illustrated below:
